If your tap is no longer dispensing water it could be one of two parts that needs to be replaced. To ensure you order the correct part the machine will have to be opened up to check which part needs to be replaced.

The  Standard & Plus styles are interchangable - you can use either one according to your preference.

Repair Instructions for Childlock or Tap

Tools Needed:

  1. Flathead screwdriver
  2. Adjustable wrench
  3. Cleaning cloth
  4. Replacement Childlock or Tap (as required)

Step 1: Identify the Issue

  1. Broken Childlock Hook: The hook on the Childlock may be snapped off or missing.
  2. Broken Tap Lever: The tap lever may be broken or detached.

Step 2: Disassemble the Broken Components

  1. Turn Off Water Supply:

    • Disconnect the water cooler from the mains.
    • Drain any remaining water from the dispenser.
  2. Remove the Front Panel:

    • Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew the front cover.
    • Gently pull the cover off to expose the internal mechanism.
  3. Detach the Broken Tap or Childlock:

    • Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the nut securing the tap.
    • Carefully remove the broken tap lever and set it aside.

Step 3: Replace the Childlock or Tap Lever

  1. Install New Tap Lever:

    • Align the new tap lever with the opening.
    • Secure it by tightening the nut with the adjustable wrench.
    • Check the alignment to ensure it faces forward.
  2. Install New Childlock:

    • Align the new Childlock hook or cover over the tap lever.
    • Secure it in place with screws.

Step 4: Reassemble the Unit

  1. Reattach the front panel securely with screws.
  2. Test the tap and Childlock to ensure they function correctly.
  3. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.

Step 5: Final Check and Maintenance

  1. Wipe down the unit to remove any dust or residue.
  2. Test the locking mechanism and water flow to ensure smooth operation.
  3. Perform a final leak check to make sure all components are secure.
